this week is a e learning week. and we are given this assignment of researching on Learning Management System (LMS) and Course Management System (CMS). we are supposed to give the difference between them.

A learning management system (LMS) is software for delivering, tracking and managing training. Range from systems for managing training records to software for distributing courses over the Internet and offering features for online collaboration. some of its example are blackboard and moodles.

while Course Management System (CMS) is a virtual environments for the teaching and learning process. They support critical functions of online instruction and course administration, and have assumed an important role in higher education.

in this website, they gives the basic theory of how to sing. this website is set up basically for those who are interested in singing and don't know the right way of singing. they emphasis more on thorat singing. i have learnt singing before so i think that thorat singing is not very healthy as it will put a strain to your thorat. but maybe through the right way, it can reduce it.

this website provides free lesson for learning japanese. but you will have to register before you can start the lesson. registration is free so you can start the lesson at your own convience. there is also a link provided for translating english to japanese. it is a dictionary where people can use it to find it in japanese. but the disadvantage is that the words is in kranji. and without learning the language, we are unable to read and understand it.

today's lesson is to let us get familiarise with Microsoft Powerpoint 2003. there is this 1 function where we can make a slide master where all the slides will be the same. its sort of like a template. once the design is done then no need to design it again. and 2003 have is function where we can juz publish our slide show on the web.

had alot of fun playing with the master page and desiging my slide. but i have not thought of what subject im going to do my project. so im using the APEL handout given for my practice. mostly likely i will settle on networking fundamental for my project.

last part of our class is to publish our slides show using the adobe presenter. u can still chose the theme, add in your name and information and also photo before publishing it to the web.
